• 2011-12-02: Daniel Timpa and his friend Vochin Gelu(Roumania) possess a son of Amancio. Vochin Gelu wins with a grandson first prize from Berlin (1161 km). The race was extremely hard (40 °C). The pigeon came home with a full day of advance against 377 competitors in his region.

  In this sale Schreurs-Hauben offer a high quality series of youngsters from their best long distance racers and breeders: Amancio (5 nat. Barcelona), his father Horacio, his sister Amore Mio Aurora, 18 nat. Barcelona and Primus inter Pares 2006-2010 Andrea, 20 nat. Barcelona and her parents Flora, 19 nat. Perpignan Marco, Max etc. Schreurs-Hauben also give you a chance to get youngsters from ther founding pigeons: Parcifal, Fandango and Novastar, the last 3 sons of the very Famous Blinde (ring 133681-84). These are the last representatives of the old Cattrysse stream.

• 2011-07-08: In the Barcelona contest Schreurs-Hauben win 3, 197, 198, 292, 335, 338, 366, 384, 386, 404, 450, 468, 469, 514, 515, 531, 535, 549, 595, 609, 611, 618, 634, 636, 651, 659, 679, 711, 713, 781, 786, 828, 972, 1003, 1032, 1155, 1207 (37/67) against 3630 pigeons in the CFW (Club de Fond de Wallonie)
  In the local club they begin with 2nd prize against 254 competitors and on the provincial level they start with 8th prize against 2012 pigeons.

  A full brother of Vaaltje was a very important founding pigeon of Jan Schreurs.
• 2011-02-20: At the Fugare Fair in Courtrai, Schreurs-Hauben received the Wallony Cup, won with the 10 first marked hens on Barcelona 2010

  The Brugse BarcelonaClub held a magnificent celebration for its Champions.
  Schreurs-Hauben won 3 out of the 5 major prices:

  • Primus Inter Pares: Ace pigeon over 5 years Barcelona with Aurora
  • 1st in the Ranking over 2 years Barcelona with the first nominated
  • 1st in the Ranking over 3 years Barcelona with the first nominated

  

• 2010-09-23: Today it is offical: Schreurs-Hauben win for the second time the Primus Inter Pares competition with the Brugse Barcelona Club.
  They also win the ranking with the first marqued over 2 and over 3 seasons.
  Winner of the Primus Inter Pares (= Ace pigeon over 5 years of Barcelona 2006-2010) is Aurora.
• 2010-09-21: Burkhard Heller, the international winner of Barcelona 2010, also wins 14th national Barcelona with a 50% Schreurs-Hauben. The grandmother of his checkered 0151-272-07 hen is a full sister of Soledad, the mother of Aurora. Clearly a family of winners!

  Schreurs-Hauben excell at the extremely hard 2010 edition of international Barcelona:
  - 18 and 20 nat. among 12657 pigeons
  - 29 and 32 internat. among 25878 competitors.
  Their first pigeon is a six years old female that wins Barcelona for the fifth time. She is a mixture of the very old Cattrysse stream and the Kuypers pigeons via Borgers. She will be a strong candidate for the title of Primus Inter Pares.
  The second pigeon is also a female, granddaughter of the Vale Barcelona II, a top breeder and winner of 13 nat. Barcelona.
